Update: Unban Your Console With PS_Unban - Blackscreen Fix

Updated 12/23/2012: Here is a piece of PlayStation 3 homebrew that many will find helpful. Developer 0x00 has released a tool that allows you to unban your console and regain access to PSN/SEN. However do note that this unbans your console and not your banned PSN/SEN account.
This release offers two version, one for CFW 3.55 and another for CFW
4.21. (Although he does mention that the one for CFW 4.21 works on both)
The developer also claims that using his tool, even though you are not
banned, could help prevent your console from been banned. That refers to
console ban, so this does not prevent a PSN/SEN account ban from what I
have understood from the posts by the dev. It is required that you
switch off your console prior to using this and you are required to
follow the same procedure every time you want to access PSN/SEN. In the
initial release many were faced with a black screen but version 0.1.2
fixes this. More below from the dev himself.


Updated 12/23/2012:

Developer 0x00 is back with an update to PS_Unban. This release fixes the blackscreen issue some are experiencing. Please note that these versions should only be used by those who are experiencing the blackscreen issue.

I confirm it's 100% work for 4.21 rogero, and here's the steps I did to unban my ps3:

1. run PKG from 00
   
2. Press [ ] for 4.30 / Press X for 4.21 /Press Start for 3.55
   
3. delete all acc in your PS3 (backup save game fist)
   
4. creater new acc PSN on PS3 or PC
   
5. logging to PSN it's working now
   

*bad news you lost all trophies

About PS_Unban:








Following up on my guide, the way I see it Sony will soon patch my
console unban method, in my opinion it will be possible to work around
the patch, I however won't release it publicly but below I give you
PS_Unban v0.1 for 3.55 and v0.1.2 for 4.21 Firmware. PS Unban is a tool
to unban your PS3 on both 4.21 and 3.55 firmwares (different pkg's) (the
4.21 should work on both but meh), no console ID needed. If it gets
fixed i'll patch it a few times.

GUIDE:

Install either "PS_Unban v0.1(4.21).pkg" (UP0001-NOBAN0000_00-0000000000000000.pkg) OR "PS_Unban v0.1(3.55).pkg" on your PS3.

(The 4.21 should work on both firmwares). Once you have installed PS Unban, run it.

When it opens, Press X if your on firmware 4.21 OR Press the start
button if your on 3.55. The application will then unban you and close
automatically. You can now sign into PSN.

P.S - This has to be ran everytime PS3 is started, I might release semi-perma unban in future.

Update: PS_Unban v0.1.2 is now released HERE and is out of BETA so grab that version instead.
